Whether you see it or not, I paint water

My art is all about capturing the mesmerizing movement of water in a kaleidoscope of colors to give you a sense of wonder and tranquility. Some of the abstract pieces may not immediately resemble water, but they embody the rhythmic patterns I see in crashing waves, infusing a space with both vitality and stability. The energy in the brushstrokes is dynamic, while vertical and horizontal lines feel grounded. A lot like you feel when you watch waves roll onto the beach.

Aqua colors dominate many paintings–a reflection of my fascination with the Caribbean–but I’m generally obsessed with the myriad of colors that go unnoticed, whether that’s in water or on an old door with peeling paint. As a result, my paintings ground your room in calm wonder and let you decide on a playful or sophisticated atmosphere based on your color choice.

Neutral color schemes soothe a sitting room or nursery, while playful palettes liven up a child’s room or office. Living rooms might want something fun or calming–either way, the paintings are always a conversation starter.
